The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (http://www.etsie.upv.es) has been organizing for many years an international exhibition on the world of construction called EXCO which, after its inauguration in Spain, becomes a traveling exhibition in many countries reaching different continents. This year's edition, EXCO21 (https://exco.webs.upv.es/en/exco21_presentacion_en/) will be held between 20 and 28 May at UPV Valencia and will see the participation of 57 universities along with other research organizations. EXCO is accompanied by an exhibition event with a traveling character that will feature the display of research products at the academic institutions participating in the initiative.

From May 20-28, 2021, the event will be hosted at the Politecnico di Milano. The exhibition is designed to be accessible as an online event even if with a physical presence at the exhibition space of the Guido Nardi Project Exhibition Gallery in Via Ampere, 2 (building 11).

The initiative intends to be an opportunity for information and training on how research topics of great interest for the construction sector are treated in other universities. The traveling exhibition is divided into six thematic lines:

• Materials and Technology
• Environment/ Sustainable construction/ Economy Information Technology in Construction Heritage
• People centered design
• Social/ Communities
• Education in construction/ Gender
