Call for Photo&Video FOOD&City | Milano 2015-2025

Ten years after Expo Milano 2015, the Politecnico di Milano with the AUIC School (School of Urban Architecture and Construction Engineering) and the curatorial team of the Polytechnic Exhibition

(24.09 - 24.12. 2025) Project Gallery ‘Guido Nardi’) launches a Call seeking photographs, reportages, videos, images made with AI, collages and drawings open to photographers, visual artists, students, researchers of all disciplines and citizens.

The call intends to gather and give visibility to the views that, today, know how to question the legacy of Expo, proposing, starting from ten thematic issues, a collective reflection through images, capable of reading the present and hypothesising future scenarios.

Between urban memory, material transformations, food narratives and territorial inequalities, “Food and the City: Milan 2015-2025” proposes ten thematic axes as orientation tracks for the Call. Each point touches on a different dimension of the legacy of Expo Milano 2015, in dialogue with the broader transformations that have crossed the city and its inhabitants in this decade.

The selected contributions will be exhibited in a special section giving shape to a visual map made up of questions, doubts, intuitions and memories, constituting an open collective reflection. A reasoned review of works as a deepening of the general theme of the exhibition, but explored from a point of view other than the technical one of architects and engineers.
