Fondazione Prada Degree Award

The Prada Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the analysis of contemporary culture through the organization and promotion of art exhibitions, architecture and cinema projects, and other relevant artistic and cultural initiatives that form its institutional object.

The Prada Foundation promotes the establishment of a prize.
The Prize is design to a degree thesis on topics related to art, the management of artistic events, the economic museum management, the restoration, the research and enhancement of cultural heritage, museography, the architecture of cultural spaces, the promotion and use of art and other similar subjects, treated with an innovative approach and analytical method to identify or suggest new paths, solutions, ideas and proposals to be used profitably in the management of artistic events and cultural and in the work of cultural dissemination.
The School of Urban Planning Construction Engineering and the School of Design organize the pre-selection of the thesis for the candidacy of the Milan Polytechnic for the "Prada Foundation Degree Award."
Mainly, Master of Science graduates of the School of Design and Master of Science in Architecture - Built Environment - Interiors, Architecture, and Urban Design, Architecture - Building Architecture of the School of Urban Planning Construction Engineering who have completed the Programmes. Graduates with 110 cum Laude (graduated until July Session) can participate in the pre-selection.  
The degree theses must focus on issues related to art, the management of artistic events, economic museum management, restoration, research and enhancement of cultural heritage, museography, architecture of cultural spaces, promotion and use of art and other similar subjects, treated with an innovative approach and analytical method to identify or suggest new paths, solutions, ideas, and proposals to be used profitably in the management of artistic and cultural events and the work of cultural dissemination.

After an accurate examination of the submitted papers, the Commission approved the theses selected to represent the Politecnico Milano at the Prada Foundation  Award.
