QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world's top universities by subject area, now covering 55 disciplines divided into five macro areas—rankings by Subject aim to guide students to choose universities by discipline of interest.
The results released today, with a significant presence in world rankings in multiple fields of study, solidify the University's reputation as a leader in education and scientific and technological research.
Politecnico di Milano ranks 87th
A new record result for Politecnico di Milano in the QS World University Rankings 2027, one of the most widely recognised academic rankings internationally. The University rises to 87th place globally, gaining 11 positions compared to the previous edition, and confirms its position as first in Italy.
After its historic entry into the Top 100 last year, the Politecnico takes a further leap forward and enters the global Top 90 for the first time, reaching its highest position ever. The result confirms constant and now structural growth: in ten years the University has gained 100 positions, moving from 187th place in 2016 to 87th in 2027.
