Election of Study Course Coordinator of Urban Planning and Policy Design - Pianificazione Urbana e Politiche Territoriali (campus Milano) Triennium 2026-2028

1. ELECTION CALL
We inform you that the election of the following Coordinator of the Study Course have been announced:  

• Master Degree in Urban Planning and Policy Design - Pianificazione Urbana e Politiche Territoriali - LM-48 (campus Milano);

2. ACTIVE ELECTORATE
The Course of Study Coordinator is elected by the members of the Course of Study Council (faculty and student representatives, if any) from among the faculty members of the Council who submit their candidacy. Lecturers are defined as, first-rank and second-rank professors and researchers (university researchers, including fixed-term researchers) of the University, who hold teaching positions within the CCS.

3. PASSIVE ELECTORATE
Electoral eligibility is reserved for faculty members who ensure not less than the number of years of service prior to termination of service. Elections are conducted by secret ballot. Each voter has the right to vote for no more than one name. The participation of at least one-third of the eligible voters is required for the elections to be valid. In case of invalid elections, the elections shall be repeated only once and shall be valid regardless of the number of voters. The person with the highest number of valid votes shall be elected. In the event of an equal number of votes, seniority in terms of age shall be taken into account.

5. POLLING STATION
Elections will be held electronically. Prompt information on voting arrangements will be given by e-mail.
 

6. CANDIDATES' PROPOSALS
To be sent by 12:00 noon on Monday, 1 December 2025:

• Application form;
• Election programme;
• Identity document.

The required documents must be digitally signed and sent, for the attention of the Electoral Commission, to the Presidency of the School of Urban Architecture and Construction Engineering, by email to: presidenza-auic@polimi.it, indicating the name of the degree programme for which you are applying in the subject line.

7. POSSIBLE PUBLIC DEBATE: 4th December 2025 at 10 a.m.

8. VOTING

• 16 December 2025: first vote.
  La votazione è valida se vota almeno 1/3 degli aventi diritto al voto.

• 18 December 2025: second vote if the quorum is not reached.

The vote is valid regardless of the numbers of voters.

The elction will be held online from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.   

9. RESULT OF THE VOTE AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ELECTED CANDIDATE 
The results of the vote shall be announced by the Chair of the Electoral Commission. 

The voting documents are sent immediately, at the end of the counting process and, in any case, no later than 24 hours after the vote, to the General Management - General Affairs and Institutional Regulations Staff Service for the purpose of issuing the appointment order.
