UIA organization give to our students the opportunity to take part in the world´s largest event on Sustainable Architecture: The UIA World Congress of Architects, which will take place in Copenhagen July 2-6, 2023.

The whole built environment is invited. Dedicated and creative architects, landscape architects, designers, developers, urban planners, scientists, students, the building industry, art and culture, politicians, global decision makers, business leaders and NGOs will meet in Copenhagen to discuss how architecture can contribute to a sustainable future – leaving no one behind.

SUSTAINABLE FUTURES – LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND
UIA goal next year is to promote, discuss, create, and showcase architecture as a vital tool to achieve the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. UIA will share sustainable solutions, examine the latest research results and join our efforts to make the 28th UIA World Congress a milestone in the history of how architecture can commit to make a sustainable future for all. In this sense, the UIA World Congress of Architects in 2023 has already begun, and our students are invited to join us in Copenhagen.

Globally UIA face a lot of challenges that must be solved, to bring us towards a sustainable future for all! Theyt believe that your perspective is important to bring into play for a nuanced understanding of the world and how we can design for it within the built environment. You are experts in the expectations we have for our common future. They encourage you to take part in activities before and during the event and help drive the change.

As a World Congress it is essential for us to involve students and invite you to attend an event that is normally reserved for industry professionals and decision-makers. Students are not often included in the conversation. We must do better than that! That is why we do our best to represent young voices in many ways.

We made this guide to help students to get involved in the World Congress. The guide offers different opportunities and guidelines on how to get involved and contribute with your perspective on the challenges we face and the solutions we make. 

The Questionnaire

The objective is to identify the expectations of a student interested in the built environment. Students who agree to complete the survey may have the chance to win 2 student tickets for the World Congress of Architects CPH 2023. All winners will be contacted by email before March 1^st, 2023.
