Noemi Basso was a brilliant student of the Politecnico di Milano in the study course in Building Architecture and then an excellent PhD.
She continued her career in Japan by obtaining the prestigious teaching role at Waseda University in Tokyo while continuing to collaborate with the Politecnico di Milano in research topics dear to her such as the relationship between architecture and structure, structural reliability and seismic vulnerability. This award is offered by the family in her memory to the degree thesis in Architetcture that is closest to the studies undertaken by Noemi in her career as a researcher.
