Extended registrations deadline: 30.06.2021

ENCOUNTERPOINTS Design Ideas Competition invites architects and prospect architects, designers, planners, artists, and activists across the world to redesign and (re)activate neglect and marginal space to promote a more resilient, cohesive, and equal urban future.

A series of talks on the topics of tactical urbanism, small-scale public regeneration project, and participatory practices will be presented and shared in June and July 2021 through the ENCOUNTERPOINTS website (www.encounterideas.polimi.it). Attendance is not mandatory, the meetings will be recorded and the videos upload on the competition website.

The ultimate goal of the call is to gather a collection of best practices and challenging, innovative, original proposals targeting the common goal of creating a more inclusive, equal, sustainable built environment. All the submitted projects will be published on the website, whereas the winning ones will be included in a printed critical book that will be published in October 2021.
